The Consumer Choice Center is the consumer advocacy group supporting lifestyle freedom, innovation, privacy, science, and consumer choice. The main policy areas we focus on are digital, mobility, lifestyle & consumer goods, and health & science.
Specific to health, whether it be with their prescriptions or the medical services they want, consumers need to have the ability to choose. This includes the ability to receive prescriptions and be able to use them to purchase the exact contact lenses they require with whichever vendor they desire.
If we allow consumers more options when it comes to their prescriptions and medications, this will make for a far more efficient and less costly healthcare system. The more competition and choices offered to consumers, the better.
The proposed changes do seem in line with offering consumers more choice, and therefore seems like a necessary change to enact.
